Bayfront Fabrication is a full-service structural and architectural metal fabricator in Oakland, California, serving contractors, architects, and industrial clients since 1996.

Capabilities

• Welding — AWS D1.1 certified procedures; MIG, TIG, and stick for carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum.
• Sheet metal fabrication — press brakes to 250 tons, shearing, punching, and rolling up to 1/2“ plate.
• Laser cutting — 6kW fiber laser for flat sheet up to 5’×10’, 1“ mild steel capacity.
• Assembly — structural assembly, stair and railing installation, and on-site fit-up crews.

Materials

A36 carbon steel, stainless (304, 316), aluminum (5052, 6061), and weathering steel (Corten).

Certifications & Notes

• AWS Certified Welders (D1.1 structural, D1.6 stainless).
• Shop capacity for assemblies to 40 feet.
• Typical lead time: 3–5 weeks depending on finish and coating.
• In-house sandblasting and powder coating available.
